This project intended to make use of the sloping site and to integrate this characteristic into the building by using a split level design. The separation of living areas from rest areas allows the design to be split in level as well as function. The project sits comfortably on the site due to this arrangement and uses a composition of traditional and natural materials including timber and white render as well as white painted brick that hints at the modernist Scandinavian style while firmly placing the project in the context of Northern Ireland.
